Swiss luxury watchmaker Hublot has unveiled a new special edition collection to commemorate the inauguration of their new boutique in Caesar’s Palace Forum Shops in Las Vegas and renewed partnership with undefeated eleven-time, five-division professional boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The Big Bang Las Vegas Special Edition pieces, all in the signature Hublot “All Black” motif, are adorned with black diamonds in different cuts, a diamond “lucky number 7” on the dial, and a caseback featuring the “Fabulous Las Vegas” sign, with black alligator “Hornback” straps stitched to engraved black rubber that reads “High Roller” for Vegas bon vivants.
The four versions are made available in extremely limited quantities, ranging from 21 editions to seven for the mid-level varieties. The most exorbitant release is the reference HR.0900.LVB17; set with 48 baguette-cut black diamonds around the bezel, the edition is limited to just 1 example, sold exclusively in Las Vegas.
At their heart, these watches are the Hublot Big Bang Chronograph powered by the calibre HUB4100, which is an automatic movement that offers 42h of power reserve and beats at 28,800bph.
Also, each watch is engraved with its individual edition number on the chassis.
