Giovanni Magni presented Magni Filo Rosso at the EICMA Fair 2014. Magni designed Filo Rosso around a three-cylinder engine with the MV Agusta Brutale 800 model to create an exceptional modern replica of the original GP 350/500 motorcycle with Giacomo Agostini reaching 12 world titles, five and seven in each of these classes.
Filo Rosso followed the traditional MV red-silver combination of colors – representing the ultimate touch on an incredible historically accurate creation.
The exhaust system sounds like the right one, which is a kind of point on “i” when this motorcycle is in question.
Magni continues to receive orders for Filo Rosso coming from all over the world. Passion for this creation has led to the creation of personalized copies that has balanced the wishes of customers which have led to personalized editions. One customer even asked for the most striking deviation from classic red-and-silver graphics, so Filo Rosso Black Edition was born and is now on the list as a regular option.
Magni as made several modifications, and the main one is a model with a 43 mm Ohlins classic style fork. The rear fork is also extended to improve stability at higher speeds, but the wheelbase has remained at a compact 1.369 millimeter.
The remainder of the machine is unchanged, including a 120-hp three-cylinder engine, with a capacity of 798 cubic meters.
Magni says this Filo Rosso Black Edition sounds like real Agostini’s machine. Oh, how would we like to check it first hand.
