The latest McLaren’s model Senna will be available from the Geneva Motor Show with the optional Carbon Theme Package.
Carbon Theme is a new special edition for which was in charge McLaren Special Operations division, and it includes 67 components of visible carbon fiber.
There are also elements in the “Solar Yellow” color, while the brake pads in the “Laurel Green” color, which all resembles a yellow-green helmet of the legendary Brazilian driver F1 Ayrton Senna, after which the car was named.
Also, there are seven-spoke carbon fiber wheels, as well as yellow and green details in the interior, with the letter S on the backrests.
While the standard MClaren Senna costs £750,000 pounds, this Carbon Theme package raises it for another £300,000.
As a reminder, McLaren Senna is powered by a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 800 hp and 800 Nm of torque, with this rear-wheel drive feature a long front cover, glass door panels, a striking rear spoiler, the Inconel and the titanium exhaust system, as well as Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h lasts only 2.8 seconds and the highest speed is 340 km/h.
McLaren says the car is only 1198 kg heavy, and the power/weight ratio is 668 hp per tonne.
There are also RaceActive Chassis Control II and Active Dynamics Panel chassis where the driver can choose between three driving modes (Comfort, Sport and Track).
