Bugatti presented a new, lightweight version of the hypersport Chiron car in Geneva, and on the oval track Nardo is faster for five seconds from the “regular” Chiron!
Two years after the introduction of the Chiron hypercar, Bugatti in Geneva promotes a new supersport, a 18 kg lighter version of the Chiron Sport with the new Dynamic Handling “package” that allows it to achieve higher speeds when turning.
Although powered by the identical W16 aggregate with 1,500 kg and 1,600 Nm, the changes made the car to be five seconds faster than Chiron on the famous Nardo track in Italy, which due to the oval configuration represents an ideal field for testing driving characteristics at extremely high speeds.
Visually, the new model is different from the “ordinary” Chiron on new aluminum wheels and a different deflector on the rear of the vehicle.
Bugatti, which operates within the VW group, will sell this ultimate beast at a price of €2.65 million.
