Designed by Red Yacht Design for Swedish builder Flying Flipper, the Superfly GT 42 is a power boat with futuristic looks.
The new Superfly GTO 42 will be produced by using light weight carbon, allowing maximum strength at minimum weight. Thanks to the carbon structure, GTO has an outstanding driving and racing performance. She is powered by two gasoline engines from Volvo or Mercury, each delivering 430 hp for a top speed of 50 knots. Alternative engine installation is a pair of Volvo or Mercury diesel stern drives (2 x 370 hp) for a top speed of 45 knots.
The boat has a cabin forward with a bedroom, a saloon, dinner table, galley, and a bathroom to enjoy also some nights onboard. The cockpit can be turned into a dining area for seven persons. For creating a social boat, Red Yacht Design added a new sunbathing area with an additional dining table for four persons.
The construction of the new Superfly GTO 42 will start in the upcoming months, while the launch is scheduled for 2019.
