The hotel chain Super 8 celebrates recent renovations and business success by presenting plans for the new RoadM8 conceptual model at the New York Auto Show car show.
Based on the outgoing version of the Jeep Wrangler JK model, the RoadM8 concept is fully adapted for long journeys and is ready to highlight everything Super 8 hotels have to offer its guests.
Starting from the exterior, the concept has a specially adapted yellow / black liver, which has red accents on the front bumper, wheels and mask of the refrigerator. This Wrangler is also equipped with additional lights and roof racks, which can serve as a baggage bag.
Major changes are found in the interior of the passenger cabin, where special accents are inspired by a hundred million dollars worth of renovation projects, which recently ended up at more than 1,800 Super 8 hotels across North America. As a result, the concept has immaculate seats that are fitted with materials inspired by new hotel linens. The hotel inspired design is also visible on all the other parts, especially the yellow environments of the ventilation holes and the wooden finishes on the steering wheel, the control panel and the door panels.
In addition to all these obvious signs, this Wrangler is also equipped with hotel accessories, such as a coffee maker and a mini fridge. The concept is a true artwork under the hood, while the two Samsung monitors show all the elements of renovated hotel apartments.
Since, this concept is based on the Wrangler JK, it probably has a 3.6 liter V6 engine, good for 285 hp and 352 Nm of torque.
This unit is connected to an automatic transmission that sends all the power to the ground through the drive on all wheels.
Although it is very strange that a chain of hotels uses a car fair to present its custom-tailored concept, this model is certainly unique and will help to send their message through all the accessories inspired by hotel accommodations.
