The first model in the new Riva 110 Dolcevita series has been launched in La Spezia, the Ferretti Group has confirmed. Riva attracts some of the most gifted designers and they’ve certainly worked their magic on this 110ft superyacht. In the 110 Dolcevita design becomes art, she is simply breathtaking to look at, both inside and out.
“For the largest Riva ship we have chosen a name that is still endowed with sparkle and charm,” explained Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group.
“Cruising on this amazing 33 metre yacht is an aesthetic and emotional experience akin to the amazement felt by anyone watching the passing of Rex, the famous cruise ship featured in the film Amarcord, another of Federico Fellini’s masterpieces.”
As well as being a visual treat, the 110 Dolcevita is a total delight to live with.
The practical details are:110ft overall, 22ft wide, a top speed of 26 knots, a magnificent and very private owner’s suite on the main deck, 4 almost identical double guests suites on the lower deck, plus a separate, self-contained living and working area for a crew of 5. But, the practicalities are almost irrelevant when a yacht is as beautiful as this and carries a Riva badge on a side. Just be prepared for awestruck onlookers on the quayside where ever you go.
