It was announced last year that designer Tom Ford was partnering up with Bedrock Manufacturing (Shinola) to create the first watch for the high-end luxury brand. So, no wonder why everybody were eager to see that creation.
The initial Tom Ford 001 Collection was debuted at his fashion show back in February but only VIPs were able to catch a glimpse of them then. Named the 001, the unisex watch has a classic, timeless aesthetic with a sleek rectangular silhouette that wraps around the wrist.
It is up on the Tom Ford website with a landing page and details about the collection.
“Form truly follows function as the 001 case has been carefully designed to allow for a quick and effortless interchange of straps that glide in and out of the case in an original and straight forward manner,” says Tom Ford.
001 will be available in a variety of case materials — from 18-carat yellow gold to stainless steel to a DLC finish — and will come with a myriad of interchangeable, slip-through strap options. Depending on how the watch is configured, prices range from $2,190 to $10,100.
