Plymouth Prowler was produced in America at the beginning of the millennium. This line is out of production for some 16 years, but now, through this model, we recall the unusual design of these lines. Born at the peak of retro madness, Prowler models were made as aroudsters who evoked the hot rod models of the thirties. Reinterpreted during the nineties, these cars were equipped with 3.5-liter V6 engines, followed by four-speed transmission, which sent all the power to the rear axle. This unit had 214 HP in the factory version, which accelerated up to a 60 mph to a mere 7.2 seconds.

This engine line was later tuned to 253 HP, but it still took 5.9 seconds for the sprint to a sixty. However, everything that these cars lacked in terms of performance, was reimbursed by design. In short, these models do not look like anything else on the road. Even the equally retro Ford Thunderbird or Chevy SSR models from the same time, could not have created a similar visual impact.
