In January last year, MB & F brand introduced its Horological Machine No. 7, named Aquapod during SIHH 2017 …
This was the first time with a water theme, inspired by jellyfish. The diving watch was launched in two versions – one had a red gold case and a black ceramic base, while the other had a titanium case with a blue ceramic base.
For this year, MB & F has prepared another limited edition of the HM7 Aquapod model, created from top titanium with a bright green ceramic base.
One of the main accents of this model is the one-way construction of the base, which is not connected with the clock itself, but freely floats above the dials. Thanks to double corona, this model is waterproof to a depth of only 50 meters, which does not make it ideal for diving.
The overall design of the timer remained the same, so the dial inspired by the jellyfish is unchanged. The HM7 Aquapod Titanium Green has a diameter of 53.8 mm and a thickness of 21.3 mm, making it pretty cumbersome.
The biggest change on it is certainly an interesting green base, while the same shade of green is used on the indicators. Developed in the workshop of this brand, the mechanism of this model has an enviable construction with 303 components, a frequency of 2.5 Hz and an energy reserve of 72 hours. Only 50 such models will be produced, and the price of one is $108,000.
