Sausage with VW sign are made in this company since 1973 and by the number of manufactured pieces exceed the number of cars made by this German brand.
In 2017, Volkswagen made and sold 6.8 million popular curry sausages, and the annual production output a couple of years ago was over 7 million pieces.
German auto giant has been producing curry sausages for 4 and half decades. Initially, they were used exclusively for feeding workers at Volkswagen factories, and are now available in stores across the country.
