With only 30 cm in width and 63.5 cm in diameter, this simple two-wheeler has a unique and recognizable structure of the Russian agricultural machinery.
This unusual motorcycle can sniff at any speed from any situation, whether it’s mud or oil sludge. Taurus 2×2 is an ultralight two-wheeler with a simple drive system and can be placed in a car’s trunk in a few minutes, of course, if you have enough space for your tires.
This motorcycle is not really glamorous, in any way. However, for such a strange agrarian machine, it may still have several pluses. As far as the drive is concerned, the company is more than willing to put whatever you want in your model, from the recommended Honda GX210 to ultra-lightweight systems from chainsaws, depending on what performance you want in terms of weight.
However, this is a very relevant item that should be considered, especially since even in 210cc variants, this motorcycle weighs only 82 kg.
With a smaller engine, its weight can be lowered to 60 kg, which makes this two-wheeler very easy to operate over any obstacles, through which you can easily overcome huge 25×12 inch thick tires.
Their pressure must be kept low, not more than 3 psi, since this motorcycle is designed for extreme and muddy terrain, so it does not have hanging on either side.
The rough front geometry makes the implementation of driving on two-wheels very easy, with another chain that goes directly to the front gears, but the official site of the company does not provide further details on how the drive system selects a proportional power distribution at the front and back.
The gearbox acts as two-stage, which should be adequate given the maximum speed of the model of only 35 km/h.
Additional space back and forth is ideal for carrying various things, including other Taurus motorcycles, after all. On the other hand, this model is so lightweight and its tires have so much air in them that you can easily track them while simultaneously floating in the river and adding gas.
