This is not a pinball or arcade game – A Maze is an analog and electric gaming console, which was perfectly designed by Marco Iannicelli…
This game is a visual illustration of the complex continuum of time and space, which helps us to understand how the two close points of a maze can be separated by one endless length.
Traditionally, the maze keeps you around until you reach its end, but in the A Maze case, the end does not exist. This elegant marble maze consists of seven concentric rings that are connected so that they have neither the beginning nor the end.
Instead, a circular board controlled by a joystick moves a silver sphere down the canal, without interruption.
Labyrinth was created with seven rings, because number 7 is often considered a mystical and appears in our daily lives because one week has seven days. This number was also chosen as a reference to Miller’s magic number, based on George Miller’s research, which revealed that short-term memory of the human brain can only remember seven things (plus / minus two information) simultaneously.
