Sometimes Candela cigars were very popular among smokers.
The brand, known for its characteristic yellow-green wrap, had incredible popularity thanks to a mild and somewhat grassy taste that was the result of an early harvest of tobacco, and then a drying process to preserve as many natural chlorophyll plants as possible. Hence the greenish color and the relatively mild taste.
However, Candela cigars eventually lost the affection of smokers, and is therefore made EMS darker and stronger version of cigars.
Now Candela introduces a new version of Camacho Candela 5 x 50 Robusto.
Cigars with Camacho label made from Honduras Tobacco have a milder taste, so the new Camacho Candela 5 to 50 Robusto presents a much milder and delicate cigar than most others on offer.
This is the result of a careful mixing of Honduran Corojo filer / core in combination with Honduras Corojo binder, perfectly complemented by Honduran Candela wrap. The result is creamy, medium-plus smoke with notes of black pepper and green tea.
