In the past period, Bugatti announced a series of teaser pictures and short video clips to present new Hypercar Divo on August 24th at the “The Quail” event in California.
The car was named after the French driver Albert Divo, who at the end of the twenties of the last century triumphed twice in the race Targa Florio.
Bugatti Divo is based on Chiron, of which it is of course distinguished by styling (a brand new front, narrow LEDs, air vents), improved aerodynamics (optimized “air curtain”, a broad front spoiler that contributes 90 kg more daunfors in relation on Chiron), modified suspension, significantly improved steering and faster transmission, and 35 kg less weight. Of course, and at a higher price, since Divo will cost 5 million euros …
The price is not surprising since a limited edition of only 40 pieces has been announced.
As far as the interior is concerned, Matt Carbon elements and Divo Gray Alcantara seats are released.
Divo is powered by the 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine with 1500 hp and 1600 Nm of torque, with a DSG gearbox and all-wheel drive.
The factory states that Divo from 0 to 100 km/h accelerates in 2.4 seconds, while the maximum speed is el. limited to 380 km/h (Chiron can reach 420 km/h). Also, Divo passed Nardo track in Italy 8 seconds faster than Chiron.
