Introducing Project Bandida. This 44m displacement yacht represents the first model to come out of GR Design House, a Dubai-based design studio founded by partners Josh Rodriguez and Franco Gianni.
Both Josh and Franco have spent many years on board yachts, so they immediately set out to design their perfect yacht with a strong focus on guest comfort and practical details as well as making a splash on the yacht design scene.
Designed to travel across oceans, project Bandida’s concept is based off a traditional raised pilothouse design, which helps create an illusion of more space inside her main saloon. She features a main deck master suite with a foldout balcony, four lower guest cabins, a large beach club and a tender garage which will house a custom 6.5m tender.
Bandida’s guest accommodation is also on the generous side with a master suite on the main deck that boasts a foldout balcony and four further cabins on the lower deck. In total she can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, in addition to eight crew members to take care of every little detail.
Franco Gianni, one half of the GR Design House duo, remarked that, “We want this yacht to appeal to all types of yachtsman, the family oriented type all the way to the ultimate party going type. The yacht will be a great charter yacht based on the fact that she is so versatile.”
