After at the beginning of the year Manifattura Automobili Torino returned to life Stratos, they “resurrected” another legend of Lancia and the Italian auto industry.
It is, of course, the most famous Lancia model, rally icon of Delta Integrale from 1989, which has undergone numerous changes at Automobili Amos, including a huge amount of carbon fiber details.
At a time when the emphasis in modern cars is computer technology, Eugenio Amos revived his vision of a “clean, analogous, crude” car. He sees his Delta Futurist as a romantic vision and the essence of the auto industry, and has received inspiration from watching the original as a seven-year-old.
That’s why his Delta remained loyal to its Lancia heritage in terms of design, while everything was significantly improved.
The bumper, the hood and the entire front mask are made of carbon fiber to reduce the weight of the car, while lightweight materials have a car seat, rear spoiler and bumper. All this resulted in a total weight of only 1,250 kilograms, powered by a 330-horsepower aggregate.
The interior is decorated with Recaro seats, aluminum pedals, modified multifunctional steering wheel.
However, there is one “small” problem – the price. Everything cost 350,000 euros. The plan is 20 units, and one is already ordered.
