After the first pictures from yesterday’s promotion in Maranello, Ferrari today released a complete photo gallery and video attachments of its first special model from the new segment called “Icon”.
In fact, two versions were prepared, including the Monza SP1, which is one-seat and Monza SP2, which has space for two people.
Monza SP1 and Monza SP2 are otherwise inspired by Ferrari’s models from the 1950s, but they have the most advanced technology of sports cars available today. As it is announced, it is a special series car that will be made in a limited number.
These cars in the barchetta form have neither a roof nor a classic windshield, and there are sports leather seats and steering wheel, as well as elements of carbon fiber.
While the standard 812 Superfast is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 with a 789 hp (with a 7-speed twin-clutch transmission), the Monza SP1 and the Monza SP2 also have a 6.5-liter V12 engine but with 810 hp and 719 Nm.
The length of the vehicle is 4657 mm, width 1996 mm, height 1155 mm, while the weight is 1500 kg (Monza SP1) and 1520 kg (Monza SP2).
Ferrari says that acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h lasts 2.9 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h arrives in 7.9 seconds, and the highest speed is more than 300 km/h.
