If you have $30 million to spare and if wondered how is it to live like Tony Stark in Iron Man, here is the good news. The spectacular Razor House, reminiscent of Tony Stark’s Razor Point mansion, on the cliffside in La Jolla, California, is going on sale for $30 million.
The approximately 10,653-square-foot home is built into a steep hillside, and its floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking views of the Pacific.
Although Iron Man wasn’t actually filmed at the home, there are plenty of similarities between the superhero’s fictional Malibu digs and the real-life Razor House. The home’s expansive views are matched by an amazing extended interior of polished white concrete and stainless steel and vast expanses of usable spaces, allowing one to have a massive custom sofa or day bed area. Luxurious finishes like Travertine stone floors throughout the entire luxury waterfront estate is matched by solid walnut flooring at Library and Family Room ceiling, Quarter-Sawn stained walnut veneer cabinetry and accent walls and the decadent master’s room is appropriately dressed with suede wrapped walls.
There are six bedrooms, with six baths, and two master suites, one of which comes with an attached personal workout space. There are two kitchens — a main one and a service one — both fitted with state-of-the-art appliances. The family room has a custom liquor cabinet, movable bar, three climate-controlled wine cabinets and an 85-inch TV. There’s also the library, glass pool table, and movie theater, as well as subterranean garage below the home that can fit up to four vehicles at one time.
The Razor House, La Jolla, California, was named after the one of the local natural monuments, Razor Point, which is fitting as the property truly pays homage to the spectacular surrounding landscape.
