Caviar made just one. It took 150 grams to cover what the brand says is a record amount of gold ever applied to a smartphone. It’s for sale for $15,340.
This priceless gadget called Maximum Fine Gold is one of five different Maximum Collection modifications offered by the company, each one featuring a 512GB iPhone XS Max. Other four models include:
Caviar Maximum Collection
– Maximum Invincible – this custom back gives the iPhone XS Max the look of something invincible, like a tank or armor. The rear plate is made from 1mm of hardened titanium with accents made of fake rivets and stitches. This rear cover will supposedly stop a bullet.
– Maximum Ultralight – using carbon instead of glass allows this backing to reduce the weight of an iPhone XS Max by 8 grams.
– Maximum Diamonds – over 400 diamonds are mounted on this backing, forming a design that spells out the word “Max” using a little imagination.
– Maximum Gold – this backing features a full coating of Gold.
All models are supplied in a wooden lacquered case lined with black velvet, authenticity and company warranty certificates, a USB cable, and a charger.
Caviar Maximum range starts from $5,200 for the Maximum Ultralight, with the Invincible selling for $5,500, and the Maximum Diamonds for $9,890. The Maximum Gold costs $5,960, and the Maximum Fine Gold is the most expensive at $15,340.
