Well, why do not give them that pleasure. So, Marwim Shaw, owner of three hipster cafes in Melbourne sells $150 ‘Jose Alfredo’ coffees to a coffee consumers, who are actually private and wholesale clients as well, according to his words.
The coffee beans are from José Alfredo’s #227 limited batch, and has complex florals and fruit flavors, with notes of lychee, passionfruit, cognac, and cocoa.
The limited batch of coffee sells for US$5,000 (AU$7,000) per kilogram at auction, reportedly making it the most expensive coffee in the world.
$150 ‘Jose Alfredo’ is currently being served across three Melbourne cafes in St Kilda, South Yarra, and Abbotsford.
