Slowly but surely, the market for electric motorcycles begins to evolve …
Almost, Harley Davidson has become one of the biggest manufacturers who announced their plans to create a LiveWire electric motorcycle as early as next year. The Finnish startup company, RMK, wants to excite the market by presenting its unique e-bike, which has a minimalist design and a range between two hundred and three hundred kilometers after just one charge.
Named E2, this electric bike will be presented at the Helsinki Motorcycle Show in February next year.
It will be launched in two versions with different battery sizes – one will have a range of 200, while the other, the larger will have a range of 300 kilometers. The company also claims that batteries can be recharged in 2-3 hours.
The electric motor powered by the E2 model has a maximum power of 50 kilowatts, while the torque is estimated at 320 Nm. According to RMK, this engine will have a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour. In terms of design, we must admit that it reminds us a little about Harley Davidson LiveWire, in the design language of wheels that favors a futuristic look.
However, what specifically emphasizes this motorcycle is the last wheel without a mask. E2 does not use a conventional chain or straps, but an electric motor integrated into an open wheel. If you want one of these models to be yours, you can reserve it now with a payment of €2,000. The starting price of the bike will be around €25,000.
