In its manner, famous Russian brand Caviar found a way to show how much appreciates the time. The company announced its unique iPhone XS with the inserted mechanical skeleton watch, under the name: Grand Complications Skeleton collection. Taking its place among spectacular decorative titanium gears and wonderful patterns repeating the internal design of a watch, the heart of a real mechanism is beating.
The open construction – the so-called skeleton – allows to see how the watch mechanism is working non-stop like a micro-universe, by constantly moving the hands around a circle.
Grand Complications Skeleton collection features iPhone XS and XS Max models: Caviar Grand Complications Skeleton Black & Gold – in the combination of black color and gold, Caviar Grand Complications Skeleton Titanium – with the predominance of titanium elements, Caviar Grand Complications Skeleton Pink Gold – with the use of luxurious rose gold. The back panel of the smartphone is decorated with figures, fancily repeating the construction of a clockwork mechanism and complemented with a Swiss clockwork mechanism, the work of which is open for views.
For the esthetical perfection, the mechanism is improved by Caviar masters – the platinum is covered with guilloche work and engravings. The mechanism is winded manually. Every design will be issued in a limited edition of only 99 pieces.
The price of Caviar’s custom iPhones are several times more expensive than the regular iPhone XS. The cheapest of the Grand Complications Skeleton collection is the titanium iPhone XS model that costs $6,320. The Black and Gold model is the most expensive at $8,080.
