The futuristic home, located in Malibu, California, featured in the “Star Trek” episode, is on the property market at a price of $5.7 million.
Located at 27553 Pacific Coast Highway, the four-bedroom house had a leading role in the famous series in 1989.
In it, Captain Jean-Luc Picard (played by Patrick Stewart) and his crew, Starship Enterprise, descend on a seemingly deserted planet to find two people who inexplicably survived a disaster that destroyed the rest of the population.
Thanks to the futuristic design, the house still seems to be from the future. Designed by architect Ellis Gelman, this unique design house has dramatic corners, vaulted ceilings, round and triangular windows that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Tiles and bamboo flooring, wooden ceilings and accents, as well as sharp edges give the modern home a natural, earthly feeling.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar, emerald stone tables and stainless steel appliances, and the nearby dining room is illuminated by a glass window wall.
Living room – which has a glass fireplace and gray stone floors, opens to a terrace with a glass fence where guests can enjoy the view of the ocean in the distance with wine and dinner. The main bedroom includes a walk in the wardrobe, a fireplace and a spa-like bathroom.
Located on a plot of two hectares and surrounded by lavender and pink garden, the residence is a few hundred meters away from the glittering blue ocean. A separate unit can be used as boarding house, office or gym.
