Piper-Heidsieck, one of the oldest Champagne houses in France with a rich heritage dating back to 1785 has launched two Champagne expressions under its prestige cuvée brand, Rare. Rare Le Secret High Jewelry champagne is limited to only ten bottles world-wide, priced at £115,000 ($150,000) each.
Blended in secret by Régis Camus – eight-time Sparkling Winemaker of the Year – this Rare Champagne has extraordinary depth and complexity. Characterised by an unusual, powdery nose, dazzling bubbles and a lively, Middle Eastern flavour, this truly special wine is deserving of its emerald-encrusted bottle.
The Maison invited the jewellery dynasty, House of Mellerio, to design a unique jewelled adornment inspired by its muse Marie-Antoinette. Once the Champagne has been enjoyed, the jewellery dynasty, House of Mellerio will transform the 1.15-carat stone into an elegant piece of jewellery during a private visit to its Parisian workshops.
The second expression under Piper-Heidsieck prestige cuvée brand, Rare Le Secret Goldsmith, is limited to 1,000 magnums. Fifty of the numbered magnums, priced at £1,150 ($1,500 each), will be available exclusively from Harrods in the UK.
