The factory department Q by Aston Martin has prepared a limited-edition series of the special Aston Martin DBS 59, which will be offered in a limited edition of just 24 units.
Aston Martin DBS 59 was made in honor of the Aston Martin DBR1 racing driver who won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1959, 59 years ago, and therefore wears the number 59 in its title.
For this special car are predicted the Racing Green color, more elements of carbon fiber, the combination of Obsidian Black and Chestnut Tan leather in the interior, the “59” logo on the seats, details in bronze, the inscription “Superleggera” on the hood, the “Q” logo, a special place for the disposal of “59” helmets, coveralls and gloves (these are the replica of those of 1959), as well as a set of special travel bags in Aston Martin Racing Green.
The car is powered by a 5.2 liter twin-turbo V12 engine that has 725 hp at 6500 rpm. and 900 Nm of torque (from 1800 to 5000 rpm), enough to reach a maximum of 340 km/h while acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.4 seconds.
The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via the ZF eight-axle automatic transmission, while the carbon-ceramic brakes are taken care of for stopping.
