Nobody has ever paid too much attention to a dog boxes, so designer Michael Tavano dog lover and insider of this industry wanted to draw attention to them. In a campaign against gray and gloomy cages, he created a boutique Pooch Palaces line, inspired by his dogs, so that each dog could get a royal treatment and that he would not be expelled from any common room in a single home, because of the box design that does not fit into its ambience.

Haberdashery Haven, with an initial price of $12,500, was created by this designer and inspired by the men’s fashion, which Tavano is glad to follow. He chose gray tones, which, as you already know, are quite modern in the interior, to create a modern pet lodge, which is equipped as a hotel suite.
When he worked on this project, Tavano selected the materials he would use very carefully. Crypton Home textiles are chosen for their endurance in fighting paws, accidents and all other things that go with dogs. “This particular one, a rich woven called Heather, looks like a menswear tweed but really feels like a cashmere. It’s so soft, yet it repels spills and stains and odors – it is perfect for any pet or high traffic area,” explains Tavano.
And while the custom Haberdashery Haven is meant to be functional, Tavano definitely wanted to give him a dose of style. “In this case, the leather harkens the fine leather goods that complement your outfit. The Crypton Heather tweed in a Slate tone looks like suiting and feels like your favorite cashmere sweater. Together with the metal tacks the palace as a whole feels a bit like a multi-textural ensemble,” he says.

The fashionable connection in this case was not used as just a trendy reference. Tavano was really determined in his approach. “As far as the design is concerned, we can see the plates again in men’s fashion. The plaque on this doghouse was inspired by the modernized revival of the details of the eighties that we can now see again on the catwalks and on the streets. ”
In addition, this dog boxing has got a leather upholstery on the roof and frame, while the pillow that offers comfort to your pet handmade, with leather details.
