How much money you would you pay for one shot of alcohol? Earlier this year Ranjeeta Dutt McGroarty, the founder and director of Trinity Natural Gas spent £10,014 (US$12,871) for one single shot of the world’s oldest cognac, and thus entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.
The limited edition Rome de Bellegarde was discovered in the cellars of Cognac house Jean Filloux by fifth-generation cellar master Pascal Filloux, and is believed to be the first blend created by Jean Filloux in 1894.
Now Rome de Bellegarde 1894 L’Eveil des Sens Cognac, can be ordered at a London-based M group restaurant, where guests will pay £2,514/10 ml shot or for £250,000 /one-liter decanter.
