In addition to the restyled version of the standard RC F model, Lexus also prepared a more sporty edition for this year’s automotive show in Detroit.
It’s a model called RC F Track Edition (with improved aerodynamics, even more aggressive looks, 80 kg less weight and improved steering), for which the Japanese say will be made in a limited edition.
Track Edition package includes numerous carbon fiber elements (front spoiler, hood, roof, sleepers, fixed rear spoiler), titanium sports exhaust system, modified suspension, 19-inch BBS wheels, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, standard Lounch control, as well as enhanced interior (black and red leather, Alkantara, carbon fiber details).
Under the hood is a 5.0 liter V8 engine with 472 hp and 535 Nm of torque, coupled with a 8-speed automatic transmission, and an acceleration of 0 to 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) lasts 3.96 seconds.
For RC F Track Edition, Lexus provided only two colors for the exterior (Ultra White and Matte Nebula Gray), while its production will start in the second quarter of 2019.
