Here’s a wonderful surprise from Richard Mille brand – a renowned Swiss watchmaker decided to step into a new world of graphic, emotional and chromatic expressions, leading us all into a nostalgic adventure through a candy store with its new watch collection …
Named Bonbon Collection, the new line consists of 10 watch models, each of which is produced in a limited edition of 30 pieces.
The whole assortment is bold, striking, elegant and fun, associating us with classic sweets from our childhood. Inspired by candy, cakes and fruit, these horological treats bring a new vision into the world of luxury watchmaking, and we must admit that we really like it.
These timepieces are based on the three most famous models of this brand, RM 07-03, RM 16-01 and RM 37-01, and combine colorful precious stones and painted ceramics in layers, with delicate enamel that has been given the ultimate final detail.
Bonbon Collection actually contains two different lines for your wrist, with four watches inspired by candy and six models that had fruits as their muses.
The fruit line comes with six fantastic flavors – Lemon and Strawberry based on the RM 16-01, Blueberry and Litchi, based on RM 07-03 and Kiwi and Cherry, created on the RM 37-01 model. On the other hand, the sweet line has four models: Cupcake – RM 07-03, Marshmallow – RM 37-01, Lollipop and Sucette – RM 37-01 and Liquorice – RM 16-01.
Richard Mille brand used the turquoise colored case for the first time in the history of its existence to create these models. Bonbon timepieces have 3,000 miniature sculptures of fruit or candy on their dial, painted with acrylic and hand-lacquered. The effect of sugar is achieved by using a powdered enamel and sand that can be found in sand clocks.
The price you have to pay to get one of these beauties going from $122,500 to $158,000.
