Forget about a well-known caravan or expensive vans adapted for housing, the Japanese bring a completely different story …
Nissan’s concept story Opus brings great news to the world of camping.
The bulk of the credit goes to Energy ROAM, a mobile source of energy resistant to all weather conditions, which is the result of Nissan’s EV battery technology.
The concept camper will have a premiere performance in the UK, at Camping and Caravaning Trade Fair in Birmingham.
Nissan Energy and OPUS Campers collaborate on the concept of smart camping, which uses secondary Nissan batteries for electric vehicles.
All this would allow remote powering, which would ultimately offer up to a week of relaxing adventures beyond the reach of the city network.
With a capacity of 700 Wh and 1 kW output, the ROAM lithium-ion cells will provide a 230 V power supply and virtually home conditions.
