Inspired by the Greek myth of Gorgon, the famous watch brand, L’Epee 1839 and MB & F have teamed up again to create an unusual creation …
It’s something that looks like a jellyfish, with all its tricks. Named Medusa, this incredible dual configuration clock can be placed on the ceiling or table. Wherever you find a place, it will be incredible.
This masterpiece comes with a dome of handmade Murano glass that reminds us of the jellyfish body. Within the dome, there are two rotating rings, one representing hours, and another minute. They tell us the exact time, and there is a fixed indicator that is provided over both rings. The Super LumiNova layer will make this clock glittering in the dark like a real jellyfish in the depths of the sea.
This clock has a mechanism with a frequency of 2.5 Hz, on which the masters from L’Epee 1839 worked for two years, and it is a special model that is constructed on a central axis that symmetrically coincides with the neutral pillar of genuine jellyfish.
Medusa model is presented in three limited editions, and each of them will be produced in fifty pieces.
The colors of the hand-made Murano glass dome of this clock are blue, green and pink, reminding us of the natural colors of the jellyfish, while the pipes are made of the same glass and have the same qualities as the dome. The price of one of these models is $25,500.
