Thanks to Dubai ­entrepreneur Hatem Alkhafaji and his ­business partner, ­Anders Cavallini, who lives in Los Angeles, we can now enjoy a coffee that has been brought to perfection, as part of a very ambitious project, called Space Roast Capsule.

This collaboration aims at creating perfect coffee, firing the capsule into space and using the heat of its re-passage through the Earth’s atmosphere to make the coffee beans fry at the most favorable temperature. The coffee beans will float inside the pressurized canister in the oven where zero gravity is so that they can flared evenly, with the correct distribution of heat and other suitable settings. The capsule, called Coffee Roasting Capsule, will be launched next year and will carry 300 kilograms of coffee in it, and will be fired at a height of about 200 kilometers.
Commenting on this ambitious project, Kelly Sullivan, a spokeswoman for the company, said in a statement: “We simply want to inspire people to understand that the universe is no longer accessible to certain nations, and that it is open to everyone, and that it is no longer untouchable and unacceptable.” She further added: “We wanted to create a company that would hire people and give them a reliable way to become inspired by the doctrine of the universe.”
After production, this coffee will be primarily presented in Dubai, with a price of $200 to $400 per cup.
