Private Edition of series of Glenmorangie rare single malt whiskey almost got its tenth member, and it’s Glenmorangie Allt.
It is the first whiskey of this brand that was made with wild yeast from the famous Cadboll hops in the Highlands Distillery. As a key ingredient of Scottish whiskey, this yeast takes a special place in production.
That’s exactly what wanted to discover, Bill Lumsden, director of the distillation of this brand. Wild yeast growing on the Cadboll hops was not identified earlier, and in combination with hops, it created fragrant whiskey. In this way, a top-level specimen was created, Glenmorangie Allt.
The new whiskey also marks the tenth anniversary of the Glenmorangie Private Edition collection, which makes it rich in vanilla, sweet
