Pininfarina Battista Now Officially

Company Automobili Pininfarina has announced earlier that its electrically powered hyper car will be named Battista.
Of course, the name was taken from Pininfarina’s founder Battista “Pinin” Farina and it was officially confirmed that the premiere will be held at the Geneva Motor Show. The first delivery will follow about a year later, that is, in 2020, when will mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of Carrozzeria Pininfarina, a famous design house that is now turning a new page as a car manufacturer, will mark its birthday.

Battista will, according to the claims of its manufacturer, be the most powerful and fastest car ever designed and manufactured in Italy.
These claims are confirmed by specifications specifying that the powertrain of this car (otherwise known as the Ritchie Drive) will develop a power of 1900hp and 2300 Nm. This will be enough to accelerate to 100 km/h in about 2 seconds. Also, this car will be able to reach over 350 km/h, while the autonomy with one battery charge of 120 kWh will move about 450 km (certainly not at the highest speed).
In the end, we add that this car with a carbon fiber body will be manufactured in Cambian, near Turin where is Pininfarina’s central station.
The total production will be limited to 150 copies (50 for North America, 50 for Europe and 50 for the Middle East and Asia), and the price of each will be around 2 million euros.
