On the occasion of its 100th birthday, Bugatti returned to its roots and made an electric car intended for children.
It is about Bugatti Type 35, a famous racing car, which is also called Bugatti Baby, and it also got a modern transformation.
Bugatti Baby II has electric drive, driving modes for children and adults, and its price is 30,000 euros.
The car is a creation of Bugatti and Junior Classics, and is exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show.
Baby II honors Bugatti’s classic racing car, has a similar body design, but its size is in fact equal to three-quarters of the original model and has a ram created by a 3D printer.
Inside the revived runner is an engine powered by lithium-ion batteries. The car has two power modes, a child-friendly mode that limits speed to 20 km/h and an adult mode that allows speeds of up to 45 km/h.
Those to whom this is too little can choose an optional upgrade that unlocks Speed Key, that is, increases the power to 10 kW.
Baby II is available in traditional blue, but also in other colors. It has eight-spoke alloy wheels, and the company will start production this autumn. Only 500 copies will be produced.
