A piece of chewing gum of the legendary manager of Manchester United Alex Ferguson, from his last match at Old Trafford against West Bromwich Albion (5: 5) in 2013, was sold at auction for as much as £390,000 ($442,800).
An unnamed fan picked up a piece of the chewing gum that the fiery Scot spit out during the match, placed it on an online auction and sold for a big cash amount.
Interestingly, the fan decided to donate all the money for humanitarian purposes. All proceeds go to the Manchester United Foundation charity.
Ferguson, one of the greatest football experts ever, led United from 1986 to 2013 and won even 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League titles.
