Spirit Of The Seventies: Fat Bob As Cafe Racer

Blacktrack Motors workshop has made true art from the design of this Cafe Racer.
Meet BT-03, a Cafe Racer based on the Fat Bob 114 FXFBS from Harley-Davidson.
Fat Bob 114 is one of the funniest two-wheelers in the American company’s game. It has 155 Nm of torque, while the frame of the new generation Softai model provides excellent steering characteristics.

Perhaps not the most ideal candidate for the Cafe Racer, exactly Fat Bob that was the right choice for the founder of this workshop, designer Sacha Lakic.
As an inspiration for the BT-03 served XLCR, also a giant model from Milwaukee. It’s a motorcycle that was in serial production from 1977 to 1979, and it’s the only Cafe Racer in the rich history of “Harley”.
The goal of this creation was not to create a replica of XLCR, but present a modern interpretation of this machine, with as little weight as possible and with better performance.

In order to achieve this, they only retained the Milwaukee-Eight aggregate, transmission and ram. Everything else has been improved or replaced with new, Blacktrack components. There is a new composite front shield, a new fuel tank and a rear part, which resembles that of the XLCR.
Real magic happens under the seat. Blacktrack has designed a new three-piece aluminum sub-frame, which perfectly agrees with the existing design and represents an excellent solution. It should be emphasized that all new parts were designed and made to the workshop itself.
Blacktrack put the Ohlins suspension and front and rear. The wheels are 17-inch Dymag, aluminum, and the choice of the tire has dropped to the Michelin Power RS. There are also a new Beringer brakes.
The enhancements to the aggregate include the Screaming Eagle Air Filter, as well as the Jekill & Hyde Silencers. All this results in 105 hp and 163 Nm of torque.

Not only does the BT-03 perform well in driving, it is also significantly lighter – 248 kilograms. Black and silver graphics is a trademark of the Blacktrack workshop, although it’s gray based on Audi’s “Nardo Gray”, with some modifications. As a point on “i” comes the leather seat of the classic look.
BT-03 will be manufactured in an extremely limited number of copies – only four, and from the order to delivery, it will take a year.
We can only imagine how much the price is.
