In case you are not familiar with the unique designs of the yacht signed by Kurt Strand, this futuristic boat will prompt you to remember its name …
A brilliant designer from California has just presented his 135-meter long luxury yacht concept called California, with a specific design that uses glass and water as its key features.
The design of this incredible boat consists of large glass walls with glass balconies, combined with folding glass doors and modular sections, to create an open/enclosed space that connects into one whole. On the lower decks there are three swimming pools, one of which also includes a waving machine and a small waterfall.
The design of the bow of this ship contains strong lines, inspired by the elements of the gladiator helmet, with cut glass sections that represent the eyes. There are also corner windows that give this ship a modern look in combination with superstructure, creating a general masculine attraction.
Among other amenities, the front-end loggia, spa pool, heliodrom and hangar are run by an automatic elevator system. The interior design of this yacht is inspired by the Zen philosophy and contains a lot of recycled wood and natural stone, which creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
There are also Koi lakes, wall waterfalls and aquariums, as well as a nightclub and bar, a spacious lodge, a playroom, a hamam gym, a luxury massage studio and a spa, cinema and bowling alley.
There is also a space for a collection of classic cars on this yacht. The yacht will be fitted with a hybrid electric propulsion system, powered by super-efficient diesel turbine generators, with a 60-tonne lithium-ion battery, which allows the yacht to move for five hours at a speed of 11 knots. The maximum yacht speed is 20 knots, which is probably quite enough.
