Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announces another model from the Collection Car collection – Wraith Eagle VIII.
Wraith Eagle VIII Collection will have an official premiere at this year’s edition of the exclusive Concourso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, which will be held from May 24 to 26 on the coast of Lake Como, Italy.
The plan is a limited edition of only 50 copies, with the series being made in honor of the forthcoming centenary of an extraordinary feat.
Captain John Alcock and Lieutenant Arthur Brown made the first non-stop transatlantic flight in June 1919, in a modified Vickers Vimy plane from the First World War, which had two 20.3-liter Rolls-Royce Eagle VIII engines. And this special car was precisely named after this engine.
Wraith Eagle VIII Collection Car comes with a two-tone exterior (Gunmetal and Selby Gray combination), with black front grills, Shadow finish wheels, and a two-tone leather interior, intermittent clock, RR logo on headrests and ceiling that shows the position of the star and route in 1919.
