Tiger Woods’ caddie will get an adequate replacement for one day after a fan recently won the chance to serve as Tiger’s caddie for a day during the Hero World Challenge pro-am, which is Tiger’s event, in the Bahamas in December.
This item to carry golf bag for Tiger Woods was part of his annual fundraising event, Tiger Jam, in Las Vegas, where a number of auction items helped raise a hefty sum for Woods’ TGR Foundation.
The winner was Dave Gilbert, founder and CEO of National Funding who paid a hefty $75,000 to trek along 18 holes with Woods this coming December. His bid eclipsed the $50,000 paid last year by Jim Williams, to serve as Woods’ caddie for a day in the Bahamas.
Woods’ usual caddie Joe LaCava, meanwhile, is expected to still in attendance at Hero World Challenge, but like last year, will be taking a break from his caddie duties and solely be there to provide tips and jokes to the temporary stand-ins.
