We saw the first photos of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe last week, but the order was that the Germans officially present this novelty, which is now happening.

The capacity of the Gran Coupe is about 440 liters, and can also be increased by the collapse of the rear seats (the seatback of the rear seats is divided in proportion to 40:20:40).
As for the engine of the Serie 8 Gran Coupe offer, the M850i is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine of 390 kW/530 hp and 750 Nm (coupled with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission), followed by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbo – you get in the 840d version that develops 235 kW/320 hp and 680 Nm, as well as a six-cylinder gasoline engine with 250 kW/340 hp and 500 Nm in the 840i variant.
M850i and the 840d come exclusively with the xDrive four-wheel drive, while the base gasoline 840i can be obtained in variants with rear or xDrive all-wheel drive.
For the new “eighth”, BMW also envisaged, among other things, an adaptive M suspension, an active differential on the rear axle, an iDrive system, a head-up display, an active parking system, and a Live Cockpit Professional with a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 10.25- infotainment display.
Later, there will be a sports M8 Gran Coupe, with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of 600KS and 750 Nm of torque, coupled with a 8-speed automatic transmission
