French fashion house has decided to transform one of its most classic heritage pieces: the Bisten suitcases for those seeking a rugged option for extended travel. Thus was born Louis Vuitton’s Titane collection.
As can be deduced from the name of the collection, the iconic range is dressed up in a titanium external finishing, complete with LV’s monogram design laser-engraved onto the surface, while the borders and locks are made from ruthenium, giving them a subtly darker look.
Leather is still used for the corners and handles, however, providing a nice pop of color, and they’re finished with gray microfiber lining and cotton straps.
Louis Vuitton offers three models of varying sizes to choose from: the 50, 55, and 60 and starts at $41,000 for the smallest of the cases.
