GMT-Master which Marlon Brando wore in an epic film from 1979, Apocalypse Now, signed by Francis Ford Coppola, will be auctioned later this year. As surely the most important watch that was owned by the Hollywood legend, the silver GMT-Master produced in 1972 has no base, has a black face and a matching belt.

The model, considered missing for several years, was presented in the same form as the actor gave him to his daughter, Petra Brando Fischer. What makes this model truly unique is the hand-engraved M. Brando signature on the back of the case.
The auction is scheduled for 10 December and will be held in New York. And while the auction house did not reveal its estimate for the Brando’s watch, we can assume that the figure will be quite high, as Pole Newman’s Rolex Daytona which was sold at a price of $17,752,500 million two years ago, while Elvis Presley’s white gold Omega decorated with diamonds was sold at a price of $1.8 million last year.
