American actor Vin Diesel celebrated his 52nd birthday on July 18th, and friends with whom he made films from the franchise “Fast and Furious” gave him a car.
It’s a 1970 Dodge Charger that was engineered by the SpeedKore Performance Group. The car was given to Vin during the fourth week of shooting “Fast 9”, and when he saw it, the popular actor was speechless.
Diesel in the aforementioned franchise played Dominique Toretto and was driving several Dodge Chargers during the shooting, but the one he received as a gift is really special. The car was made in 2015 as an exhibit and was named Tantrum. Basically, it’s a supercar in the guise of Dodge Charger. Below the hood is a 9.0-liter Mercury Racing V8 twin-turbo engine that develops 1650 hp, which is matched with a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission.
The complete chassis is adapted to handle with so much power, and in the interior is a protective cage.
Although the car has a basic Charger profile, it’s a completely modified car in which the carbon fiber is heavily used. It got HRE wheels that make him look even more aggressive, and leather, Alcantar and carbon fiber were used in interior decoration.
