After its initial debut two years ago, the first mechanical golf watch with an aperture dial has received a new suit…
Hublot brand, in collaboration with Dustin Johnson, recently unveiled the Big Bang Unico Golf watch in a beautiful carbon blue finish, which complements the pure white look of the first mode, launched in 2017. New Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf Carbon Blue Watch comes with a small 45mm diameter case that is very comfortable and quite robust enough.
The body of this model was created by Taxalium, which is actually the ultra-lightweight and super-strong material that the Hublot brand created, as a combination of fiberglass and aluminum, with a thin layer of carbon. This material removes 100 grams from the weight of the model, making it very comfortable to wear.
The watch features an MHUB158 mechanism with 72-hour power reserve and three pushbuttons at positions 2, 4 and 8 that give golfers the opportunity to enter their score. The first button counts the moves, while the hole number is displayed at the nine o’clock position.
The 4 o’clock button records holes, moves that lead you to the next one, and resets the 3 o’clock move counter while simultaneously keeping track of your total score through a window positioned at six o’clock.
The last key at the eight o’clock position is used to reset all counters.
MHUB1580 fully skeletonized mechanism is beautifully exposed to impress you, but comes with a price that fits its aesthetics. The new model will cost $32,500.
