Italian company Puritalia Automobili has unveiled its Berlinetta supercar in the spring, which will hit the roads in the fall.
Berlinetta is a hybrid in which the V8 and electric motor combined develop 965 hp, making it the most powerful Italian hybrid car, more powerful than the 2013 Ferrari LaFerrari (950 hp).
The car is 4,500 mm long, 1,982 mm wide, while the wheelbase is 2,701 mm and weighs only 1,410 kg (150 kg chassis).
Berlinetta accelerates from place to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and reaches 200 km/h in 7.2s.

The internal combustion engine itself, a 32-valve 5.0-liter V8 DOHC Ti-VCT with a 2.9-liter twin-screw supercharger, develops 750 hp at 7,000 rpm and 878 Nm at 4,400 rpm.
The advanced axial flux electric AC motor delivers Yasa and produces up to 215 hp and 370 Nm of torque, weighing just over 25 kg.
Puritalia integrated the engine directly into the rear differential, thanks to its extremely compact diameter of 305 mm and an axial depth of 106 mm.
In this configuration, the torque supplied by the electric motor bypasses the transmission and acts directly on the rear wheels.
The final version of Berlinetta will be presented at the Blenheim Palace in the UK at the Salon Prive event 5-8. September.
Puritalia will only make 150 copies of the Berlinetta, with a starting price without tax of €465,000.
