Roger Dubuis has created its very first watch with a full carbon structure: the case, the calibre and the bracelet are all made of multi‑layer carbon. That’s new Spider Excalibur Carbon3.
Super light, super comfortable yet massive presence on the wrist, it is the timepiece one cannot miss and one don’t feel on the wrist! In addition to that, the timepiece features an emblem of Roger Dubuis’ haute horlogerie mastery: a skeleton flying tourbillon.
The 45mm case is 14.05 mm thick and the whole watch weigh as little as 81 grams, which is truly astonishing for a timepiece of its size.
The dial features multi-layer carbon lower and upper flange with rhodium plated indexes filled with white luminous SLN, 18K Gold black PVD hands with black transfer and white luminous SLN tips.
Boutique exclusive model comes with power reserve of 90 hours and is water resistance up to 5 bar.
As we already noted, the plate, bridges, and tourbillon upper cage of the RD590SQ caliber are all made of carbon, making it highly shock resistant and as strong as steel, but comfortable to wear.
Stamped with the Poinçon de Genève, new Spider Excalibur Carbon3 Watch is limited to only 28 pieces, while the price is yet to be announced.
