Of course that rich travelers are seen to carrying their RIMOWA bags from airport to airport. But now more ordinary mortals who use New York City Subway can share their joy. But not with RIMOWA suitcases, but because of a series of collectible MetroCards released as part of the label’s “Never Still” campaign.
Building on the campaign’s creative concept of “no one builds a legacy by standing still,” four limited edition cards have been designed to celebrate RIMOWA’s iconic grooved duraluminium suitcases and highlight various forms of travel through playful illustrations.
There will only be 250,000 sold at select NYC subway stations, starting August 5.
