The saga of Godzilla has been going on for 65 years, from 1954 to the present day, and its creators have teamed up with ESP guitars for a limited edition electric guitar, priced at a crazy ¥ 5,550,000 (or $52,658.40)!
The guitar was designed by Takamizawa Toshihiko of the Japanese rock band The Alfee to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the movie monster, and was made with the support of Toho, the studio behind the classic film.
The guitar features an alder body, a three-piece hard maple neck and an ebony fingerboard. There’s also a Floyd Rose bridge, Gotoh tuners and a single EMG-85 pickup.
The guitar also has embedded purple LEDs that make the body and fingerboard glow when the switch on Godzilla’s left foot is activated
Only five copies of this extremely limited edition guitar are being manufactured, made to order.
